London – Poland revoked the “military aviation” in its airspace at dawn on Tuesday morning in response to Russian missile attacks in western Ukraine, said the country’s operational command.
“Due to the activity of the long -range aviation of the Russia Federation that carries out attacks on objects located, among others, in western Ukraine, military aviation has begun to operate in the Polish airspace,” said the Command in a statement published in X.
The operational commander “activated all the forces and resources available at his disposal, and the air defense systems and radar recognition on land reached a state of preparation,” the statement added.
“The steps targets aim to guarantee safety in areas that border threatened areas,” the command said. “The Operational Command of the Armed Forces is monitoring the current situation, and its subordinated forces and resources are still fully prepared for the immediate response.”

The command said his forces were removed after about four hours, without the violation of the airspace of the Republic of Poland, “he observed.
The Polish army, he added, “is constantly monitoring the situation in the territory of Ukraine and remains in constant preparation to guarantee the safety of the Polish air space.”
All west of Ukraine, and much of the rest of the country, was placed under alerts of air attacks in the early hours of Tuesday. The Night Russian drone, often also missiles, the attacks have become the norm in Ukraine as the country begins a fourth year of its defensive war.
This weekend, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in a statement to social networks: “Every day, our people face aerial terror.”
On Saturday night, Russia launched its largest drone strike, shooting 267 UAV to Ukraine, according to the Ukraine Air Force.
Russian and Ukrainian projectiles have sometimes crossed in the National Airspace of Polish and other Nana. In 2022, two people were killed in eastern Poland, so the Polish prosecutor’s office said it was an Ukrainian S-300 air defense missile that left the course during a Russian attack.

In at least two other cases, Warsaw alleged that Russian cruise missiles briefly violated the Polish airspace on their way to the objectives within Ukraine. Poland convened the Russian position of matters to demand an explanation after one of those incidents in December 2023.
NATO Allied Romania and Latvia also reported violations of the Airspace of Russian drones during the Moscow War in Ukraine.
